Quala’s Proactive Approach to Being Clean and Safe during this Pandemic
Serving the Largest Tank Cleaning Network during the Coronavirus Pandemic
Over the last few months, the world has faced very unique challenges that have changed our daily lives locally, our economy nationally, and business practices globally. This unprecedented situation forces businesses to adjust to the changing landscape on a daily basis.
With the largest network of tank and IBC cleaning facilities in North America servicing transportation, chemical, waste, food, oil, and gas industries, Quala has had to quickly adapt to safeguard our employees and customers across the network. Our unique service offerings have classified us among the list of essential businesses that will remain open and operational during the COVID-19 pandemic. Quala will continue operations in support of your business and the broader transportation network.
Quala’s CEO, Scott Harrison, reassures customers by stating, “As a father, husband, and company leader, COVID-19 tests our resiliency on a daily basis. I would like to assure our customers that we will continue to support them with consistent, dependable, and safe cleaning services.”
In alignment with the suggestions made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Quala has updated our safety practices in our Food Grade, Cleaning, Specialty, Rail, and Industrial business units. For example, we are reducing the risk of contamination by:
- Reducing intrapersonal contact by further utilizing our customer portal, QualaTrax, to process transactions
- Continuously certifying that employees have not put themselves at risk through contact either at home or at work
- Dictating that all employees continue to adhere to Quala Health & Safety guidelines, including maintaining a safe distance and frequent hand washing
- Requiring that all non-operational employees work from home
Quala Industrial Services (QIS) is taking a proactive approach to being “A Cleaner Company” by providing Bio-Decontamination Services to businesses in need. Using state of the art equipment, our team assesses the site, treats, decontaminates, and removes hazardous materials in an environmentally safe manner. For those businesses deemed essential, including hospitals, clinics, labs, warehouses, and factories, QIS can deliver cleaning services by scheduling routine sanitization treatments to keep your employees and customers safe.
The Quala IBC Cleaning business unit has bolstered cleaning and maintenance services to support our customers that provide cleaning supplies such as hand sanitizer, various types of soaps, and EPA-approved disinfectants.
Our focus has always been performing our job safely, effectively, and efficiently. We promise to remain reliable, flexible, and dynamic as operational standards evolve to better ensure the safety of our staff and our customers. The devotion and dedication of our employees, their ability to work together as a team, and their focus on collaboration as a network has never been more evident.
