Quala Aids in Disaster Relief at Home and Abroad
Quala Employees Rushed to Help During a Recent Tornado Outbreak in Houston
At Quala, caring for our local communities is a core value that our employees take to heart. That’s why after a severe line of storms and tornadoes swept through Houston in late January of 2023, employees Brandyn Harrison, Marcus Willis, and Austin Prince jumped into action to help their neighbors in the Pasadena, TX community.
The trio cleaned up debris in affected neighborhoods near Quala’s Pasadena facility on Underwood Rd. Harrison, Willis and Prince’s work was critical to clear vital paths for first responders and power crews so they could restore power and provide first aid.
Quala is very proud of these employees for selflessly offering their aid!
The EF3 tornado that ripped through Pasadena left thousands without power and millions of dollars in property damage in its wake. Find out more about how to aid ongoing relief efforts here: https://www.khou.com/article/news/local/help-texas-tornado-victims/285-12a58382-d4b3-491a-a53e-2149eea4de4a
Quala Donates to Syrian Earthquake Relief Fund
It’s not just local communities that Quala cares for, it’s the global community as well. That’s why Quala has donated to ongoing relief efforts for the devastating M7.8 earthquake that hit Syria and Turkey on February 6th, 2023.
Quala’s donation to the Syrian American Medical Society Foundation (SAMS) will help provide badly needed medical trauma supplies to the area. In addition, the donation will support medical evacuation efforts and assist in rebuilding SAMs supported hospitals that were damaged during the quake.
