Our use of advanced technology like earth-friendly safe cleaning products, recycling and reducing waste are some of the everyday practices we deploy in our operations. We are always looking at ways to reduce our overall carbon footprint at locations and communities where we do business. We are committed to the necessary resources to protect the environment and we not only comply with all applicable environmental laws we strive to improve upon them. We operate under all of the proper permits and agreements within every community where we do business.
EVALUATION
Compliance is evaluated on a routine basis with environmental risks continually being reduced through ongoing operating improvements and our emergency preparedness programs. All terminal personnel are trained annually in RCRA* hazardous waste regulations.
RETURN & REUSE
Utilizing a heels management program which returns heel to the customer as a product or is reused by the facility whenever possible. If a product cannot be returned or reused on site, it is managed as a solid waste by a RCRA*-trained employee.
SEGREGATION
Segregating hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams minimizes the amount of hazardous waste generated. Used oil and universal wastes are collected and recycled according to regulations.
AIR EMISSIONS CONTROL
Quala has expertise in the control or emissions generated during cleaning operations. State of the art emissions controls systems are in place to ensure compliance to regulatory guidelines.
