Chief Executive Officer Michael E. Bauer
Mike joined Quala in 2005, and has over 27 years of industry experience filling a variety of roles across the transportation industry. Previously, Mike operated MRN Logistics, a logistics company that provided brokerage services for carriers, and spent 19 years with Consolidated Freightways where he served as Vice President of Sales.
President Terry O’Brien
Terry joined Quala in 2009, and brings with him over 22 years of industry experience. Between 1991 and 2008, Terry held various leadership positions within Quality Distribution (a leading provider of Bulk transport Services) including Sr. VP of Operations, Sr. VP of Business Development, and Sr. VP of Sales.
Chief Financial Officer Marc R. Friedant
Marc joined Quala in 2017, and has over 30 years of financial experience across a multitude of companies and industries. Previously, Marc was Chief Financial Officer for Vogue International, Hardware Holdings and Clement Pappas Company and Managing Director for Penn Hudson Financial Group.
Chief Operations Officer Erik Leto
Joining Quala in 2006, Erik has 15 years of industry experience. Prior to Quala, he held various roles within Quality Distribution including Business Analyst and Director of Central Planning. Erik was part of the team that, along with Mike Bauer, executed the corporate carve out of Quala and implemented the systems and processes necessary for Quala to operate as a stand-alone entity.
VP – Human Resources Paul Woodbury
Paul joined Quala with over 9 years of industry experience. Prior to Quala, Paul was the Human Resources Manager at CEMEX and served as Human Resources Director for Quala, prior to being promoted from within to his current role as VP of Human Resources.
VP – Information Systems Jay Marcotte
Jay joined Quala in 2012 with 20 years of IT Management experience with a diverse set of industries ranging from Waste Management, Technology, Oil and Gas, and Telecom Industries. Jay has been instrumental in upgrading our systems, standardizing equipment and reducing costs.
President, IBC Services Eric Amstutz
Bringing with him 25 years of industry experience, Eric joined Quala in 2010. Eric’s past experience involved the ownership and operations of Manfredi Special Services, an ISO 9001 Certified industry leader of IBC and supply chain management. Additionally, Eric has also held tank truck and operational sales leadership positions with major trucking companies including Manfredi Motor Transit and DistTech.
VP – Business Development John Jolly
Joining Quala in 2016, John brings with him over 10 years of industry experience and expertise in business development through strategic, acquisition-based growth initiatives. Prior to joining the Quala team, John worked as the VP of Acquisitions and Regional Operations Manager for two of the largest logistics and bulk-liquid transportation service providers in the United States.
VP – Sales and Marketing Eric Speiser
Joining Quala in 2017, Eric brings with him over 15 years of sales and marketing leadership experience. Prior to joining Quala, Eric held various roles including Area Sales Director for Waste Management (a world-wide industry leader in Environmental Services) and Director of Sales for The Cintas Corporation (a leading facilities service provider).
